JOB SATISFACTION ANALYSIS IN IMPROVING EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE AT PT JAYA SENTRAL INDO BANJARMASIN

The objectives of this study are to: 1. To know and describe the job satisfaction of PT. Jaya Sentral Indo Banjarmasin. 2. To find out job satisfaction that should improve the performance of PT. Jaya Sentral Indo Banjarmasin.  The research method uses qualitative types with in-depth interviews selected from the speakers. Data collection techniques use documentation, interviews, and observation. The results of the study can be concluded that efforts that can be made by the company in increasing job satisfaction and employee performance include, holding discussion forums between superiors and subordinates, and directing employees to be more sensitive to fellow employees so as to avoid conflicts. There are several indicators that support employees at work so as to achieve job satisfaction, namely: work, salary, promotion, co-workers, and superiors. This is proven because, from each of these indicators, employees can undergo or do their best to improve employee performance. However, they are not satisfied with the salary given by the company. Advice that can be given by related parties, the company must provide compensation in accordance with the work of its employees. If indeed the employee achieves the results of his work or he works more than colleagues who have the same position as him, the company should provide bonuses/incentives that are commensurate with the results of his efforts.
