Penelitian ini difokuskan untuk mendeskripsikan efektivitas kepemimpinan kepala sekolah perempuan berdasarkan perspektif gender. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi partisipatif, dan dokumentasi. Menggunakan Metode komparatif konstan multisite, penelitian ini melibatkan kepala sekolah, pengawas, guru, staf administrasi, orang tua, dan masyarakat. Analisis kualitatif dari data tersebut menghasilkan temuan bahwa kepala sekolah perempuan efektif dalam kepemimpinannya meskipun mereka agak lambat menanggapi inovasi.
